What’s the Best Type of Litter Box?

In my years of reviewing cat litter boxes, I’ve explored every category imaginable: covered, uncovered, top entry, automatic, sifting, and even disposable cardboard boxes. Each type has its own advantages and drawbacks, particularly from a human perspective. However, the burning question remains: which type do cats actually prefer?
